John Dieter has been appointed Director of Property Management effective January 1, 2019. He succeeds Doug Engl, who recently retired following 32 years with Uniland Development Company. Uniland Property Management oversees all functions related to customer service and tenant relations in Buffalo and Rochester for Uniland tenants and third-party clients.
Previously Senior Operations Manager, Mr. Dieter joined Uniland 27 years ago. He has subsequently, progressed from a hands-on maintenance technician to leading a staff of over 40 property managers, administrators, and maintenance personnel.
“Leading by example, John has developed an excellent staff of technicians who maintain Uniland properties and keep them running efficiently 365 days a year,” says Carl J. Montante, Uniland President and Managing Director. “The Uniland Directors and I look forward to working with him as he leads Property Management into a new era of excellence.”
Mr. Dieter is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, Vice Chairman for the Village of Medina Planning Board, and a member of the Village of Medina Waterfront Development Committee.
He is also a veteran troop leader with the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Dieter achieved an associate of applied science degree from Bryant & Stratton College.
