MassMutual New York State – Office Space
MassMutual New York State | 300 Corporate Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14226
Rapid Company Growth and Support Operations Necessitated Larger Office Space
MassMutual New York State is one of the region’s largest insurance and financial services companies. Since setting up operations at Uniland’s University Corporate Centre in 2008, their workforce has grown. With plans to add more positions and become the hub for Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse account processing, additional space was needed.
Expand and Streamline Office Capabilities for Continued Growth
MassMutual employees and clients preferred the current location. Working with Uniland, MassMutual selected a larger suite and leased a separate training center in the same building.
Work began in February 2016 with Uniland managing the construction and logistics of MassMutual’s new 11,905-square-foot suite. The space was completely gutted and remodeled. The clean, contemporary design features polished silver finishes, herringbone flooring, modern lighting and Buffalo sports-themed conference rooms.
- A welcoming lobby featuring a coffee bar and bistro tables for clients,
- Advanced communication and smart conference room technology to support operations,
- New office furniture and work stations to enhance collaboration and efficiency, and
- A dynamic break room for lunch, informal meetings and company celebrations.
Contemporary Aesthetics for a Consumer-friendly Vibe
MassMutual New York State moved into their new regional office in August 2016, heralding a bold new chapter for the company. Besides the location, MassMutual appreciated Uniland’s flexibility and onsite support throughout construction. Uniland met MassMutual’s deadline and achieved their vision for a space designed more efficiently and outfitted with a modern, streamlined aesthetic for a more consumer-friendly vibe.
Working together for over a decade, the relationship transcends business. MassMutual CEO Joseph DiLeo notes, “What I like about [Uniland’s Montante family] is they’re a great community partner, they invest in the community and are great stewards. I look for that type of match in the people I do business with.”
