Uniland Development Company, a leading builder, developer, owner and manager of commercial real estate in Western New York, and Lornamead, a leading personal care company with a broad portfolio of well-loved consumer brands, today announced that Lornamead will be adding a 22,000 SF expansion onto its 66,000 SF ISO and GMP Certified manufacturing facility at 175 Cooper Avenue in Tonawanda, New York. Lornamead has been a Uniland tenant at the site since 1996. When completed, the 88,000 SF facility in Uniland’s Interstate Commerce Centre will support Lornamead’s growing oral care production and distribution operations. The addition will allow for greater inventory control and warehouse distribution as well as enhanced manufacturing technology to support expanding levels of production and distribution.
Lornamead’s expansion reflects the growing business in oral care segments including toothpaste, tooth whitening gels and oral pain relief treatments. The company sells products under its own brands, as well as manufacturing for retailers and other brand owners. According to Lornamead, the facility has delivered double-digit output growth over the past three years.

Interstate Commerce Centre is a nine-building, 30-acre industrial campus located on the Tonawanda/Buffalo border. With its wide roadways and spacious trailer staging, the complex is situated within the intersection of Interstate 190 and the Interstate 290 Expressway for seamless access to commercial routes and Canadian bridges.
Originating with a single warehouse in Tonawanda in 1974, today Uniland has developed 1.7 million square feet of industrial space across 206 acres with additional development on the horizon. In total, Uniland has developed over 16 million square feet of commercial and residential space in the Buffalo-Rochester corridor with eight million square feet under management.
