As Board Chair, Ms. Zaepfel works with the Chamber’s leadership, membership, investors, staff and community partners to further its mission of nurturing a strong economic base, maintaining a high quality of life and promoting sound public policy for the Buffalo Niagara region.
“As Chair of the Amherst Chamber’s Board of Directors for a second year, I will continue to serve and work with my fellow board members as a steward of the programs and policies necessary to create a strong business climate where both large and small companies can succeed,” Ms. Zaepfel said at the event. “As we begin 2020, we are working with politicians and partners to influence, shape and advance policies that will further elevate the Western New York economic environment into a new decade. The Chamber is a powerful voice for our business community as we champion a prosperous tomorrow for all.”
The largest suburb in upstate New York, the Town of Amherst is seeing new residential, institutional and commercial development, including the upcoming opening of the nation’s first hotel embracing Universal Design standards. Based on the impact of the Chamber in advancing our region, it is attracting members and investors from well beyond the borders of the Town of Amherst.
