Buffalo Business First Names Uniland as Western New York’s Largest Commercial Real Estate Developer

From small businesses to Fortune 500 firms, Uniland Development Company offers clients the largest portfolio of office, flex, and industrial space, according to Buffalo Business First’s annual Commercial Real Estate Developers List for 2024. This is the third consecutive year Uniland topped the annual Commercial Developers List, which is ranked by the size of each company’s Western New York portfolio.

Since its founding with a single warehouse in Tonawanda 50 years ago, Uniland has developed over 16 million square feet across the Buffalo-Rochester corridor, including many modern staples of Buffalo’s architectural landscape. Using a collaborative approach with clients, Uniland helps businesses find the best space for their needs. Some of our popular office options include Class A suites at 285 Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo and 300 Corporate Parkway at University Corporate Centre in suburban Amherst, as well as flex space at 170 Lawrence Bell Drive at Amherst International Park in Amherst.

Uniland is actively addressing the growing demand for industrial space for manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution space with 2 Steelworkers Way, a newly constructed, move-in ready 150,000 SF facility at Renaissance Commerce Park in Lackawanna, NY. Its neighboring facility at Uniland’s 8 Dona Steet warehouse in 2023 with Total Quality Assurance and Max Advanced Brakes, two leading companies in the automotive industry that are expanding their operations in the Buffalo region.
