Fidelis Care, a Queens, New York-based, non-profit provider of government-sponsored health care programs, sought a site for expansion in the Amherst, New York, area. In addition to consolidating their office and data operations to one location, the organization sought a site that provides:

  • Close proximity to its existing Getzville location
  • Quick access to highways and amenities
  • Abundant on-site parking
  • Land for future expansion


Develop a modern workplace with flexibility to handle immediate and future growth of office space & data center

Uniland’s tailored build-to-suit proposal featured a custom 90,000 square foot facility in CrossPoint Business Park. The new office building featured an open floor plan that would keep all of Fidelis’ growing departments under one roof. Adjacent green space provided room for future expansion up to 179,000 square feet, nearly doubling the initial structure. Fidelis agreed to the two-phase construction schedule and moved 430 local workers to the new office in 2011. Consolidating the company’s departments under one roof streamlines its processes, poising it for quick and easy future expansion. In 2015, Uniland completed an expansion of 90,000 square feet by constructing a connected building for Fidelis. This phase included both workspace and a large data center for the company’s expanding technology requirements.


A custom-designed office building and data center for over 1,000 employees

Fidelis Care moved its Western New York operations to the new state-of-the-art facility in CrossPoint Business Park in 2011. The complex features a modern aesthetic and agile infrastructure. It has a two-story atrium, grand staircase and a unique blend of materials including brick and metal panels and redundant HVAC systems. A landscaped patio offers an outdoor respite for employees. The facility provides flexibility to support the organization’s future needs.
