David Tytka Re-elected to NYSCAR Board

Uniland Development Company executives and staff are dedicated to community service. Collectively, Uniland associates offer leadership and professional skills to 80 organizations from the Buffalo-Niagara and Rochester regions, as well as groups having a statewide, national and international reach.

Uniland’s Senior Market Research Manager, David Tytka, has been re-elected to the board of directors of the Western New York chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR) as Affiliate Director. Mr. Tytka also serves as chair of the chapter’s sponsorship committee. In this role, he works to identify and attract corporate support for the organization’s array of programming.

NYSCAR engages with partners from across the commercial real estate industry to foster continuing education, business networking and political advocacy to advance opportunities in Western New York. The organization also supports the next generation of real estate and economic development through scholarship programs with the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning and the Northland Workforce Training Center.

An active NYSCAR member for nearly 20 years, Mr. Tytka received the organization’s inaugural Affiliate of the Year Award in 2018. Additional accolades include the 2017 Elite Sales and Marketing Award from Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives and the 2008 Innovation Award from Uniland.

As Senior Market Research Manager, Mr. Tytka is responsible for preparing various analyses involving site acquisitions and dispositions, status of the local and national commercial real estate market conditions and new development opportunities. He has been instrumental in identifying and securing many economic development and energy efficiency incentives for Uniland projects.
A member of the Uniland team since 2003, Mr. Tytka also serves on the Amherst Chamber of Commerce’s Public Policy and Economic Development Council.

Local community leaders gathered at 8 Dona Street in Lackawanna for a ceremonial ribbon cutting for Uniland’s new distribution and advanced manufacturing facility. Built on “spec” – meaning without an anchor tenant – Uniland has fully leased the 150,000-square-foot building and has begun construction on a second spec building, adjacent to 8 Dona, at 2 Steelworkers Way.
