For nearly 50 years, Uniland Development Company has been active across Western New York in its support of local businesses, organizations and development programs whose purpose is to benefit all people across the region. Through our commitment to educational, recreational and socially conscious programs, Uniland helps to build stronger communities.
The mission of the Willie Hutch Jones Educational & Sports Programs is to provide every child, at no cost, equal opportunities to engage in the highest quality program and to offer character building activities through academics, sports, and the arts. Uniland is an active supporter of their expanding science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programming and recently donated a passenger van to enable the organization to transport students to educational sites, sports facilities, and field trips.
The Beverly Gray Business Exchange Center serves small businesses on Buffalo’s East Side and throughout Western New York. Uniland has been a corporate supporter for many years and our Vice President of Corporate Relations, Laura A. Zaepfel, is a founding member of their special advisory group. We work with the Exchange to expand economic opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs, especially Minority and Women-Owned Enterprises (M/WBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran–Owned Businesses (SDVOB).
The vision of Buffalo Black Achievers is to empower local youth to excel and go forward by exposing them to the accomplishments of the heroes of our past aiding in their desire to advance our cause through technology. Uniland is the lead corporate sponsor of the Black Achievers Youth Academy, which is transforming the lives of our future community leaders and the workforce of tomorrow.
