At the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS® (NYSCAR) Western New York Chapter’s annual awards dinner, Uniland associates received several awards and recognitions for their key work on commercial real estate transactions. Chartered in 1995 as a commercial overlay board, NYSCAR is a specialty local board of REALTORS® with statewide jurisdiction that focuses on creating opportunities for members to enhance their professional education, network with colleagues across the state, and market commercial property in statewide forums.
Account Executive Charlie Callahan received both the 2024 Transaction Volume Award – Affiliate with 29 deals closed, as well as the Largest Affiliate-Assisted Transaction of the Year Award for his work with client Barclay Damon LLP for their Class A office space at Avant (200 Delaware Avenue) in Buffalo. With approximately 300 attorneys, Barclay Damon is a leading regional law firm that operates from a strategic platform of offices in Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, Washington D.C., and Toronto. The transaction was executed with Robert A. Schell, SIOR, President of Pyramid Brokerage Company.
This is Mr. Callahan’s second consecutive year receiving the Largest Affiliate-Assisted Transaction of the Year Award. A new member of the NYSCAR WNY Chapter Board of Directors and its Sponsorship Committee, Mr. Callahan also serves as the Secretary of the Clarence Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce Business Resource Council, the Courage of Carly Fund, and the Young Professionals of the American Cancer Society, respectively. A Uniland associate since 2013, Mr. Callahan is a member of the Leadership Buffalo Class of 2020 and the Buffalo Business First 30 Under 30 Class of 2018.
Joining Mr. Callahan in delivering results for clients, Account Executive Craig Muni was commended as the First Runner Up for the Transaction Volume Award – Affiliate with 27 leases, and Account Executive April Sanders, Ph.D., was highlighted as the First Runner Up for the Largest Affiliate-Assisted Transaction of the Year Award for her work with the Buffalo & Erie County Workforce Development Consortium on their office space at 77 Broadway in Buffalo, respectively.
During the NYSCAR WNY Chapter awards dinner, Uniland’s Senior Market Research Manager, David Tytka, was toasted on the completion of his service—per term limits—as a member of their Board and outgoing Chair of its Sponsorship committee. An active NYSCAR member for over 20 years, Mr. Tytka received the chapter’s inaugural Affiliate of the Year Award in 2018.
Representing Uniland’s Rochester portfolio, Senior Asset Manager Anthony Burkhart, CPM®, supported clients with 14 executed leases in 2024.
