New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS Honors

Uniland Development Company Founder and Executive Chairman Carl J. Montante has been lauded with the Meritorious Service Award by the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS (NYSCAR) Western New York Chapter at their 20th Annual Awards Dinner.

Since founding the company in 1974 with a single warehouse in Tonawanda, Mr. Montante has built the most reputable commercial real estate development firm in Western New York. During this time, Uniland has leased, managed, and constructed locations for thousands of local businesses, and attracted more Fortune 500 companies to the region than any other developer.

Uniland’s work has literally altered the landscape of the Buffalo region from its Class A suburban business parks to its innovative mixed-use projects in downtown Buffalo such as Avant and The Delaware North Building as well as HANSA workspace, the city’s first full-service coworking and shared office center.

“It is an incredible honor to be recognized by NYRSCAR with the Meritorious Service Award,” reflects Mr. Montante. “This organization is comprised of members of the brokerage community and related businesses critical to the success of commercial real estate here in Western New York. Uniland has been successful over the years by working with brokers and their clients to address their needs and help answer their business challenges with creative real estate solutions. To be recognized for this work is a career highlight.”
