Executive Chairman Carl J. Montante, and his son, Chief Executive Officer Michael J. Montante, are ranked high among Buffalo Business First’s Power 250, a list of the most influential Western New Yorkers in 2021.
Michael Montante succeeded Carl Montante as the company’s CEO in March 2020. Carl Montante founded the family-run privately held firm in 1974. In the subsequent 47 years, Uniland has developed more than 16 million square feet throughout the Buffalo-Rochester corridor, including over eight million square feet under management.
This is the ninth consecutive year Messrs. Montante have been highlighted on the list. Carl was listed No. 15 and Michael was ranked No. 47, respectively.
