Ms. Zaepfel joined Uniland in 1986 and has worked in both marketing and public relations. In her current role as Vice President of Corporate Relations, Ms. Zaepfel is responsible for community affairs, working with regional leaders and government institutions. In addition, she manages the charitable contributions program, maintaining Uniland’s long tradition of community involvement and support.
Ms. Zaepfel is active in many distinguished community organizations including her previous involvement with the Canisius College Board of Trustees and Amherst Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Ms. Zaepfel is also a past Chairperson for the Western New York Catholic Charities Appeal.
Ms. Zaepfel is a past president of NAIOP, an association for commercial real estate development, a past Trustee of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and has served as a Board member and Secretary to the Junior Achievement Board of Directors. Her work has extended to the Western New York Food Bank Capital Campaign where she served as co-chairperson, and the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation events committee.
Prior to receiving her Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Ms. Zaepfel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College. She has also studied abroad, continuing her education in Art History and International Economics at Ithaca College of London, England. |
