In her current role as Vice President of Corporate Relations, Laura Zaepfel works extensively with regional and governmental leaders. Responsible for community relations, she has an active role in community and business organizations that advocate for economic development.
Zaepfel also manages Uniland’s corporate philanthropy program, maintaining the company’s long tradition of community involvement and support. Active in many distinguished community organizations and fundraising initiatives, her work ranges from the Western New York Food Bank, where she served as co-chairperson of the Capital Campaign, to Catholic Charities, where she was Chair of the eight-countywide Annual Appeal and serves on the board of trustees. Zaepfel is also a board member of the New York State Council for the Humanities, National Federation of Just Communities (NFJC), Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, and the Buffalo and Erie County Naval Military Park.
Prior to receiving her Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Zaepfel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College. She has also studied Art History and International Economics in London, England.
